Hey, i don't agree nor dsagree...i guess that maybe the name is dead, but the means still go on, and it evolves....
i was 18 when Kurt Cobain died, and the grunge died with him in some ways, it was a great moment (the grunge, not the death of Kurt obviously) and me like many others thought that it would never end, and one day it happened. things evolves, the matter transform... i have a full suspended, a dj bike, an all mountain, and i love doing all that stuff, what more freeride than this? just an humble opinion.
I have both osiris (old models) and nike,,, osiris are cool, but in some ways i prefer more that classic design in nike6.0... apart from that, it's a symptom that the mtb freeride/dj/slopestyle is gainin' market...
Nike it's a big company that cares about big money, and if they are dropping the 6.0 maybe it's because by their scale there isn't enough profit... there aren't as much dirt jumper and freerider as tennis player or runners or soccer players...
Smaller companys like Osiris or Orchid are cooler and more involved in to the action sports world so i guess in the end it's best this way... And, what a team, they jumped in big style
Santa (as myself) brought a new spank handlebar, pedals, grips and saddle for my birthday present (dec. 15th) a wonderful Scott Voltage FR 30 (also from myself) ... a good Xmas i must say lol (it cost me a little fortune, but, what the hell...) About Us
